Is Pharos free to use? +
Yes — Pharos is free to download and use. Your first learning path is generated at no cost. We may offer optional premium features in future updates, which will always be clearly labelled.
How does Pharos build my learning path? +
When you first open Pharos, it asks you a series of questions — your goal, how much time you have each week, and your budget. It then uses AI to generate a structured, multi-phase plan with curated learning resources matched to your specific answers.
Can I change my learning goal after I've started? +
Absolutely. Tap the Pharos companion button at any time and say "I want to talk about my path." Pharos can help you adjust your goal, change your pace, or start a new path entirely without losing what you've already done.
What is "Today's Pill"? +
"Today's Pill" is a short, digestible piece of content or insight that Pharos surfaces each day — separate from your main learning task. It's designed to keep you inspired and informed without adding to your workload.
Does Pharos work offline? +
You can view your existing path and tasks offline. Generating a new path or chatting with the AI companion requires an internet connection, as these features use cloud AI services.
How do I delete my account and data? +
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: go to your Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Alternatively, email us at ostonichris07@gmail.com and we will process your request within 7 days.
The app isn't loading. What should I do? +
First, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try: (1) checking your internet connection, (2) restarting your iPhone, (3) updating the app to the latest version in the App Store. If none of these work, please email us at ostonichris07@gmail.com with your device model and iOS version.
Is my data private? +
Yes. Pharos does not sell your data and does not show ads. Your learning goals and personal information are used only to power your experience in the app. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
